ABOUT THE PROJECT

It’s a classic story of a 1940’s Cottage Farmhouse that had not been updated since the early 80’s. We took this home down to the studs and rebuilt it from the outside walls in. Staying true to the architecture of the home, Oho Interiors added custom finishes, heritage details and a healthy dose of architectural millwork & features to meld form and function. From an antique dresser turned one-of-a-kind vanity to a salvaged newel post from a Wisconsin farmhouse to unlacquered brass fixtures and marble counters that will age gracefully as they patina, the finishes in this custom remodel bring heritage, layers and a feeling of home the minute you step in the door. Featuring moody spaces filled with color and character to soothing sleeping quarters meant to give reprieve to a fully redone kitchen, a mudroom that can withstand the busy needs of family life, and a family room meant to promote gathering & hosting this home has the heart & soul of Oho Interiors in it.
